I have recently thought about streaming Rainbow Six Siege as its my main game which i play and i want to try it to see how it goes with me. I have a concern, mainly about how my current PC specs may not be enough to actually stream the game.

Specs -
CPU - I7 6700K (Stock) - Cooler 212 hyper evo
GPU - 2070 Super
Ram - 16x2 (32gb) 3200mhz
PSU - CX650M
Case - NZXT H500

I'm also debating to upgrade my processor, but i'm not too sure to go with AMD or with intel as at the moment AMD seems to be quickly turning the table with intel. Another reason im debating between the two is i don't know if i should wait till AMD ryzen 4000 series, or if i should get the i7 9900k. For some insight, i play 1920x1080p, 4:3 aspect ratio in game, 144hz monitor, and when streaming and aiming for 160+ consistently.

My main question is, can my current PC stream rainbow six siege on all low settings whilst having a consistent 160+ fps?

If you have any suggestions for CPUs please mention them as i'm really quite unsure at the moment.

(dunno why you play on 4:3, it doesnt help you focus but okay)

your pc is good enough to stream, but be sure to use nvenc (nividias h.264 encoder) since you have a 2070 super

dont go with intel.
also, its an i9 9900k, not i7. the i7 is called i7 9700k, which is also dumb.
the 9900k costs like the 3900X but has 4 less, just as fast cores, and the i7 9700k costs more then the 3700X which has the same amount of cores, but with hyper threading, unlike the i7.

also intel requires you to buy a cooler, amd does not
and intels boards are more expensive

anyway, your cpu is good enough that you dont need to rush upgrading, unless you see any frame drops while streaming. if you really want intel, wait for 11th gen. (not 10th gen. thats still...

Depending on the games you intend to play, you should be fine.
you have a pretty beefy computer and it should be able to handle the extra work load from steaming. However picking up a cpu w/ more cores will help loads.
imo a ryzen 5/7 4000 would be more than enough but you would have to change some components of you system i.e motherbord and maybe cooler as well

I think i'm going to wait for AMD'S 4000 series as im pretty sure it's going to be better than intels newer cpus.

I only play Escape From Tarkov, Csgo, and rainbow six siege. But i intend to stream Rainbow Six Siege.

you intend to play on ultra settings right?
if so then you should be fine
i have a ryzen 5 1500x and a rx580 4gb and i play on very high with an avg of about 130-140 fps @ 1080p in game
your system specs are WAY better than mine and considering you play in 4:3 which is less demanding you would be fine as you are right now let alone with an upgraded cpu.

I play all low accept from shadows which are on medium as i like to have the most fps i can get.
