AMD Athlon II x2 270 or Intel dual core for office use?

Are the Athlon II x2 way too inferior to Intel's Penitum Gs? I'm gonna build some systems for office uses, but I dunno if it's worth it to go with the cheaper Athlons if the Gs are available.

Both are fine for office work. If the Athlons are a lot cheaper, go with them. If there's a small price difference, get the Pentiums.
