Hi! I bought my new pc and the cpu in it is ryzen 5 5600x but not the retail box one but the MPK version which is like 15 euro cheaper, cuz they didnt have the normal one in stock. I wanna ask about the difference? Is it still coming with a warranty because i think it is, and is the difference only that is not coming with the original box? Did i make a mistake for purchasing the mpk one?

Wasn't it specified at the time of checkout or on the receipt? Also, as far as I know, you get warranty on the processor, the version you have merely is missing the boxed cooler. Otherwise it's the same processor everyone else has.

Got a link for the retailer you purchased the processor from?

Yeah sorry, but the pc is not here yet i mean i have purchased it but its coming rn. The site is bulgarian and i dont know if you can translate it to your language but it says i have 36 months warranty im just worried if its second hand or something idk. The site is selling only non used pc parts but i just saw in some forums that the PMK versions are sometimes second hand, it depends on the site u buy it from, but i didnt really understand what the dude was talking about, and he was not even sure so. Thats the site - https://gplay.bg/amd-ryzen-5-5600x-mpk .

Last I recall the global warranty scheme is 3 years. Same for my country(Bangladesh)/region.
Yeah the warranty is 3 years im just worried if the MPK versions are some normal ones that had a problem before and they were given back to amd, and there they fix the problem and sell them again without a box. This is probably not true lmao, im just a bit scared cuz i spent all my money for this pc and yeah.

If there is a problem, just be sure to contact seller/site and bring AMD into the loop via an email. I've had some folks who actually were forced to buy processors that didn't have retail packaging instead they were brought in via luggage's as opposed to being brought in crates(to bypass customs and border taxes). Those folks did end up getting burned. I figured if you spend a little extra, and are worry free, that might give you more ease in computing/gaming than always looking over your shoulder(for lack of a better term).

Also i wanna ask what is the difference between hdmi and dp? I have both which one should i use? The hdmi is 120hz by default but i think if u go to settings in the NVCP u can get it to 165hz ( my monitor is 165hz) and the dp is usually on 165hz so i dont know which one to use
