Hi,
First let me say the Sapphire HD 7770 is running perfectly right out of the box. Yet it does not do as well in my game World of Warcraft compared to my 3 year old nVidia 9800GT I was getting 75FPS compared to only 60FPS that I get now with the HD7770.
Maybe it’s a VC setting that I have over looked???
I did 4 tests…#1 at Default for both the CPU & VC…#2 I OC’d the VC…#3 I open all 4 cores on the CPU + OC'd VC, note the drop in the score. Test #4 I OC’d the CPU from 3.1 to 3.3ghz + 4 cores + VC OC'd & got my best score.
3DMark11 4 Test results: P = Score OC’d = Overclocked
1) P2773: CPU 3.1ghz 2 Cores, VC 1000 core/1125 memory, These settings are all @ Default
2) P3023: CPU 3.1ghz 2 Cores, OC’d VC 1150 core/1250memory
3) P2896: CPU 3.1ghz 4 Cores & OC’d VC 1150 core/1250memory
4) P3515: OC’d CPU 3.3ghz 4 Cores OC’d VC 1150 core/1250memory
After test #4...I tested my Game World of Warcraft...No Change with my graphics set on GOOD, I'm getting 15 to 25fps in Town. In the Field 60fps +/-
Futuremark average scores:
