even though your pump is not working the water in the system still be cooled by the fans on the radiator will keep your CPU cooled enough to boot to Windows
I have a cheap Ante Kuhler 620 water cooling that keeps my 1100T at 1.53v below 60C easily in a 74F room
look at Stickg1 cooling with his Antec Kuhler
your water system is better than both of ours and should be keeping your CPU well under 60C
that tells me that if your cooling block is properly mounted that there HAS to be something wrong with the water flow in the system

From what I'm suspecting now is my XSPC waterblock. This is because I used to have the same temperature when I'm on Rasa stock pump. And because of the temp, I thought of changing to a better pump for better temp and it seems like it's still the same after the changed. So I'm suspecting the waterblock.

Edited: Bros it seems to be safe now on the temperature. Core temp will be the one that we should look into it. Now I'm having a clearer idea on the temp.

About the throttling, I think it's the VRM heating issue. I just lowered the CPU voltage frequency to lowest which 300khz. Let's see the throttling still appears.

Hello. New here, but I've been reading a lot and dicking around with my 945 for the past few days. I think I've had some good results and I believe I have all the correct info to be 'on the list.'

nice, im surprised you need 1.46V for 3.75GHz

and why do you use that theme? you have a pretty good GPU that should handle the aero themes just fine

nice overclock
too bad you cant use dry ice 24/7 on a rig LOL
and at 4.1ghz on six threads you scored the same as my 1100T at 4.1ghz
now why dont you post a screenshot of prime 95 running for two hours or more while your Zosma is at 6 cores and 4.1ghz
very easy to get a Cinebench run off but not be stable you know
only stable 24/7 OCs count in the really real world

...aero is like barf on my monitor. I guess I'm just 'vintage' and like that classic look; all go & no show.

RE: the volts; I had to go +.05 to get over 3.6k, and I was having trouble going over 3.7, and I ended up with another +.05 ...turned out most of the problem was the memory, and I MIGHT be able to lower the volts, but I'm just going to leave it since I'm still pushing higher. I just got 3810 , but I can't quite hold 3825.

Yeah, tell him king!

@schmuckley - you're lucky I'm holding king smp back! he's very aggressive!!

Problem solved. No sign of throttling after 12 hours blend under prime95.
Step to solve it: Lower the CPU voltage frequency.

=) Thanks those who helped out. Hee! Happy Overclocking people!

I can "put up" a lot more :kaola:

I'll pit this Zosma against your 980 Deneb any time :sol:

Here's a Cinebench shot..7.32 http://www.overclock.net/gallery/image/view/album/268232/id/730443/sort/display_order

You come in shootin' and the gunslingers are gonna shoot back.

Also high overclocks are cool, but in this club it's more about stability. Your overclock has to be proven stable to mean anything. I can jack my CPUs up really high and get off a Cinebench run but they aren't rock solid stable.

IBT GFLOPS ..http://imageshack.us/f/853/zoslogflops.jpg/
I'm not running hours of prime..waste of time..and chip life :pfff:
Temps on the cores don't show when you unlock..I'm sure they're around 34c
and yes..This Zosma was better than the 1090T I had ..so I kept it ..
Y so hostile?

Just messing with you for the fun of it :)
The 960T is an awesome CPU
I came very close to buying it myself but then Microcenter sold out
I do know that hitting over 4ghz at 6 cores unlocked and stable is almost impossible
so that CB 11.5 score is impressive and ties my 1100T at 4.1
I would say that for price vs performance the 960T wins over the 1090T
and "busting each other's chops" over technology is alot of fun
I just make it point not to get personal
just like car guys argue between Chevy and Ford or Honda and Toyota
awesome OCs thought

I have large bullets..that go real fast  oh yeah? wanna do a Cinebench challenge?
<hint> if you can't get up to 4.6..umm..I can..on water.

I will do a Cinebench 11.5 challenge with my 1100T Black Edition
I know if I am not worried about stability and just want to run a CB run I can easily crank out 4.2 ghz or higher
at 4.1 and stable I hit 7.30 on CB
I could probably get one good run off at 4.5ghz :sol:

LMAO
okay probably have to wait till friday or saturday
I do work at home for my company during the Week so I cant mess around :(
How about Saturday post a screenshot of your best run
make sure we can zoom on it
also post your CPUz screen
whoever has the best CB 11.5 run by the midnight Saturday is the winner
You have to use your Zosma
I use my 1100T BE
the loser has use a signature line that says "I am a Princess and my Rigs are weak! I bow to <name>" for one week

ARE YOU READY TO RUMMMMMBLE?

let me get this straight..I have to reserve Saturday to outclock you ..have my Zosma in..
barring I have a job to do..OK :kaola:
otherwise..it's Phenom II x 2 555 on dice or all kindsa stuff in between :D
I can handle that ..This Zosma is good :D

Sounds like a good matchup!

you can post it before then if you want or if Sunday is better for you that is cool too.

Remember this is all in fun and trash talking is cool if it doesnt get personal LOL

yes ladies and gentleman
the Fight of the Century
Thuban vs Thuban
Zosma vs 1100T
Who will emerge victorious?
Who might die a voltage death?

The Might Champion 1100T vs the young and upcoming Contender Zosma
Who has right to be crowned AMD OCing Champion of Toms Hardware?

LMAO
okay we will do it for the fun of it then
should be a good match
from my experience with Phenom II 9xx Denebs that at the same clock speeds they bench the same
looking at your 4.1ghz 960T score that is what I scored with my 1100T at 4.1
really be a race in the ghz
also I dont do dry ice
I just have a Antec Kuhler 620 with two Scythe Ultra Kaze 3k rpm fans in push pull
decent but not awesome
later this year I think I will try out a custom water kit

also my Asus board (M4A77TD) is decent it is only a 4+1 so my VRM will be limiting me
I have a 990 board on the way that is 8+2 phase but wont have it in time for our battle
I might need to ask for a rematch in a month or so LOL

well I do want to try for 4.2 this weekend
I had 4.1ghz stable so I think 4.2 is doable
I should have the 8+2 board in a couple of weeks so maybe it is a good idea to wait till then to try for a massive OC
I have a nice heatsink on my VRM and a 40mm fan attached to it but trying to go over 4.2ghz with it might blow that puppy LOL

hmm just bumped up to 4.2ghz (couldnt resist the tempation)
ran CB 11.5 fine
scored a 7.40
post a screenshot later

now I am tempted to go higher but I really want to see if this 4.2 is stable
a 24/7 4.2ghz 1100T would be sweet LOL

also as far as my reaction
I would bet that OC was done with dry ice since I saw scmuckley use dry ice on another OC
I had my 1100T on water at 4.4 booting into windows and then fail Cinebench
I believe it was a thermal wall I hit since my 1100T gets erractic once it hits 59-60C

I am currently thinking up a way to mod my Antec Kuhler 620 radiator so it is chilled
just need to rip a AC unit off of a small bar style refrigerator
I went to trade school for AC and I am EPA certified
trust me it is very doable

I went back and revisited this out of curiosity, and the answer is definitely yes, I need the volts. I dialed back to 3790 and lowered my volts by .05 and I crash about after 10-15 seconds under stress.

I am currently testing at 3810 to verify stability and then I'll need to poke around some more. At 3840 then 3825 I could only hold steady for anywhere from 15 - 30 minutes before crashing.
