Annoying issue with new Vaio laptop - XP-Home - REG Hive??

I've been trying to correct this on my own but it is a persistant issue. If
I make modifications to my taskbar notifications such as autohide, always
hide etc.. After I reboot the taskbar reverts back to before I made changes.
I believe it's a issue with a registry hive not being allowed to close, I
have installed UHPclean and turned on logging.

Here is the log showing the hive that stays open. The process ID changes but
the processes I suspect are.

C:\WINDOWS\system32\igfxext.exe -Embedding

C:\WINDOWS\system32\igfxsrvc.exe -Embedding

The following handles in user profile hive VAIO-88\Atlantis-3K
(S-1-5-21-1648261898-4244117257-2621474639-1014) have been closed because
they were preventing the profile from unloading successfully:
