[SOLVED] Another Ryzen 3600X build ;)

Hi everyone,

So after 6 years of steady duty by my previous build, it feels like high time for some upgrades. Or you know what, let's just do a new build

I am however looking to use some old components as well, but I'll get into that later. Any advice on this build would be much appreciated, any potential bottlenecks you spot or better bang for my buck to be had would be wonderful.

So this is the plan including prices (Euro) where I live:

Case: Keep my "old" one:
Corsair Midi Tower Carbide 300R ATX Windowed

I'm thinking of using my "old" PSU, seasonic ss-620gb active pfc f3, it's approx 6 years old. Good idea? Bad idea? 620 Watts. Also have a 750W unit lying around from a previous build, but don't think I'll need that power.

EVGA 650 GQ (V2) or something similar (recommendations very welcome)

Total: Around 1000,- , depending on PSU and details.

I also have an older Crucial m4 SSD 2.5" 256GB in my current system. This has my OS on it, and will likely just be moved to the new system and run as boot drive. Or might it be a lot faster to run boot on the new P1?
Some old HDD's are moving as well, but these are just bulky data storages as I'm into all sorts of data-hungry hobbies such as music production, gaming and graphic / 3D work.

So basically my questions are:

Build seem good?
Bottlenecks / bang for buck improvements?
Keep old PSU/case?
Install OS on new SSD or keep boot drive from old system?
Any other considerations are always very welcome ofcourse.

Definitely get a new, quality PSU. Ram speed is ok, but if you can find 3600 CL16, for a similar price, that's a better choice. The rest of your choices are alright, though the 3600x isn't really worth the added cost, typically, vs a 3600. Also 4th gen is being announced today. Your case should be ok. I would keep your OS, but do a fresh install, on your current SSD, and use the 1tb drive for game storage.

So my "best buy" for 3600 CL16's are the G.Skill Ripjaws V F4-3600C16D-32GVKC at 160,- coming in at + 50,- / 140% price. Worth?

EDIT nvm, found them a bit cheaper, def. worth!

Looking better and better I'd say, a little more expensive now at 1104,- but that's snugly just slightly over the 1100,- budget
