Good day Sir/Madam, I am from Malaysia (SEA region, UTC +8), recently just upgraded my pc from:

i5-4590
AMD R9 380
16GB (2x8GB)
550W PSU

My humble new PC Spec:
i5-10400F
ASROCK B460 PRO 4 SOCKET 1200
EVGA RTX 3060 TI XC GAMING
Kingston HYPERX Fury 16GB (2*8GB) GDDR 2666mhz
Aerocool Lux RGB 750W 80+ Bronze PSU

Currently still using my old LG 23M47D 23" (1920*1080p) FHD [TN] and my eyes just can't take the pixels and poor color anymore.

I am not an expect in monitor, but would greatly appreciate if anyone can share your personal experience or your expert insights on a good 1440p monitor, preferably with high refresh rate (144hz/165hz/240hz) and IPS panel.

I am using the monitor for medium load - video editing, casual gamers on Dota2/Valorant/ Total War series/The Witcher 3/AC:Odyssey (mostly old gen games) and Netflix. I am interested in getting a 1440p monitor to serve the purpose I mentioned above, so an all-rounded IPS monitor would be great :) cheers

I was so close in getting ASUS ROG Strix 27" XG279Q (1440p, 170Hz OC) but decided to wait since I then decided to opt for 4K. If I had to choose a 1440p monitor then that would be the one, no doubt.

Thank you! But I watch some reviews about the monitor on yt. It seems like it is quite a decent monitor but other brand like LG has better performance and cheaper in price too. If I may ask, what 4k monitor are you going to get? Will my current cpu and gpu can handle a 4k monitor? I have friends recommend me to get a 4k monitor or TV instead of a normal gaming monitor
