If the GPU itself is the same, then you want to go with the card with the highest memory bus bandwidth, most RAM, and fastest RAM.

So if you have a 670 with 1GB of DDR2 RAM and a 64-bit memory bus, that would be a infinitely inferior card to a 670 with 2.5GB of DDR5 RAM and a 256-bit memory bus. Go as high as you can within the budget you have.

I would go with the Gigabyte one, has better cooling and is probably much quieter. Also cl-scott is right, as the memory bandwidth is important. But all 670's have the same bandwidth, so I would recommend the Gigabyte one.

Does you friend have the power supply for the job?

I would go for the Gigabyte one. It comes factory overclocked and has nice and quiet custom cooling at a reasonable price. All the others are reference designs. The EVGA and Galaxy are identical and the Zotac has the highest factory overclock, but reference cooling. The Gigabyte is the best.

Yes i think he have a 750w or 800w psu and in the future will upgrade to like 1000w when he sli's in a few months.
