Hi, All,

In my computer, I use Windows XP Professional Version 2002 SP2. I got
Sharing tab in folder Properties from Windows Explore. (Windows Explore >
select one directory > right click, select Properties ) It is not same as
that I saw Security tab in folder Properties when I use another windows XP
Professional Version 2002 SP2.

Does anybody know why I have the difference? How I could change my computer
to let me get Security tab?

Thanks in advance,

In Windows Explorer go to Tools, Folder Options, View. Scroll down and uncheck Use simple file sharing. Additionally, you must be running NTFS as your file system to see the Security tab.

Hi, Doug,

Thanks for your help. I will try it. By the way, how I can know if I am
running NTFS?

Right click on the drive in question, in Windows Explorer and select Properties. On the General tab, you'll see the File system type.
