No. And if you look at how motherboards have evolved - the feature count is on a different level as well. Features add costs.

Hi milktea,

While USB transfer speeds can still vary quite a lot depending on the manufacturer, processing power (as you mentioned) has been part of the problem. USB performance is definitely something we pay close attention to. I can't promise or guarantee any numbers, but as the chipsets become more powerful, and in conjunction with working closely with those chipset manufacturers, we do expect to be able to improve USB transfer speed performance.

Haha I wasn't sure if I'd get a response to that :) Well-played.

2 questions:
1. Approximately when will the Maximus VI Formula come out and approximately what kind of price will we see?
2. When will you start rolling out new GTX 770 GPU's? (Road map? Time-frame?)

Will ASUS produce a mitx motherboard suitable for a NAS build?
Like having 6 or 7 s-ata ports based on h87 or z87 and maybe 2 ethernet port.

1. Next month is the ETA. I don't have an MSRP on that yet.
2. Ping Frogo on that one. :)

Hey Timmy,

At Computex we announced Q4 for the Zenbook Infinity, and that is the best I can give you at the moment.

With the G750 series Gaming laptop and even the older series have most of the ports on the right side such as power/Ethernet/video and many more. This is a huge inconvenience for a right handed gamer there must be a more optimal way for ports without sacrificing too much style. Is there any gaming laptops in ASUS' near future that may have these ports in a more user friendly location?

Thanks for the answer!

Are the specs and ETA released yet, or could you give a small hint?

I've smoked a FET on a Foxconn 480 GTX - it was a modded and heavily abused card. Other than that, no flames for me.

With Haswell now out in the wild, is there anything you can share as to when Asus will be releasing Haswell based laptops/ultrabooks? I am particularly interested in the ones that use the new ultra low voltage (15W and below) processors. Thanks!

Hello,
I own 3 Asus blue boards of varying sockets and vintages and I am generally a happy customer. I in fact love your boards. I had a couple questions.

Was a black and yellow color schemes an elaborate plan to force me to pony up for a TUF or ROG series board? Because if it was well played sir. If not please switch back to the blue as soon as possible.

Is there any plan for an update to the AM3+ socket boards before steamroller comes out. I was considering a build but the options seems pretty dated as this point when compared to haswell boards. Even the FM2 boards seem to be more current. Current as in PCI 3.0, the number of USB 3.0 and the like.

Again love your products please let me know.
