Question AsRock x570 gaming4 issue

Hi any help appreciated. Built new PC. No GPU installed for now have tried plugging in gtx1070 problem remains , No bios screen. Everything else in order all fans working. Just can not get a display. Have tried hdmi on motherboard and 1070.

Red light on motherboard on VGA sometimes stays on. This occasionally does turn off with no difference. Ram and processor lights check then clear leaving VGA on majority of the time.

Spec is

Asrock X570 gaming 4 motherboard
Corsair 3200 16gb 2x8
Litepower 550w PSU
Ryzen 3600x processor

The onboard video does not work with that CPU, so graphics card has to be installed, monitor connected to it. Make sure that you're connecting all required power cables to the card. Use a monitor, not a tv.

I believe that to be incorrect, assuming OP has a AM4 Ryzen 5 3600x. Only reason I know that is because I'm dealing with the same issue right now with a brand new build and have had to do a ton of research. Here's the supported CPU list from ASRock's site. Running the same mobo myself, but I'm using the 3700x. Any luck? @andrewoleacre

Yes it is fixed thanks for the advice too.

No onboard graphics, plugged a gtx 2060 in and it fired first time 😄.
