Question ASUS TUF Gaming F15 laptop RAM issue

I bought a new RAM stick for my ASUS TUF Gaming F15 Gaming Laptop, it was recommended by Amazon. When I put the RAM in, and turned the laptop on, there was no display. When I took it out and only had the one before in, it worked. The RAM instantly reaches high tempuratures and again, the laptop turns on but doesnt display anything. I dont remove the battery while installing and Ill try that soon, but does anyone know what might be the issue. Im assuming the stick is broken and I need a new one. When I checked the RAM is recommended everywhere. The ram is

The RAM OP bought, is compatible according to Crucial,

However,

The RAM instantly reaches high tempuratures and again, the laptop turns on but doesnt display anything.

This indicates faulty RAM, since RAM DIMM shouldn't go higher than ~70C or so.
