Asus Unveils First USB 3.0 Motherboard

I think it has something to do with how the USB3 ports are added in the first place. I think they are added on through a chip outside of where the USB is usually found. So they would need a larger chip to support more USB3 ports, which isn't feasible at this time.
 
Hmm... Since there's so much bandwidth on USB3, I wonder if I can get a hub and connect my keyboard, mouse, modem, MP3 player, thumb drive, bluetooth dongle, etc into one port...
 
it's been a long wait for usb 3. only thing i remember is it's much faster than usb 2. time to search tom's hw review again.

didn't see any mention of price of the mb in the news. is it right $299?
