athlon b and c?

heard there are athlon b and c. what's the difference? which is better for oc'ing? tia

The difference is Athlon Bs are at 100 mHz front side bus and Athlon Cs are at 133 mHz frount side bus. I think Athlon Bs are better because if you get a motherboard that supports 133 mHz front side bus, you can make that 100 mHz B forced to run at 133 mHz. Say, If you had an Athlon 1000 B (10x100), you mich be able to get away with forcing it to run at 10x133 for 1330 mHz, but if that doesn't work setting the multiplier to 9 for a 9x133 = 1200 mHz. That would save you money over going with a C. But, what you could also do is just buy the C, raise the multiplier 1-2 points, and not having to worry about whether or not it will even run at 133 mHz.
