hi!
i started crysis/far cry2 (other games doesn't do this) an i got artifacts on the screen after a minute of gameplay - blue or sometimes red rectangles. became more and more and i ended up with a game crash/freeze.
pc restart.
the windows desktop did the same, rectangles everywhere... than the driver didn't respond to the opsystem (the windows wrote this) and reloaded.
i thought it's a heat issue (GPU max temp was 68C ingame) and i set the fan to 60% (any lower setting continued to produce atrifacts) and the picture became clean of those bastards.
BUT!
it doesn't happen every time i start the game just usually every 2nd or 3rd start. sometimes everything goes fine on automatic fan settings which rarely goes above 35%.
it's very annoying, is it really a heat issue (with 68C i'm not sure in it since it should be fine on load) or simply the card is faulty?
if there is any way to change the cooling on the card, any suggestions very welcome regarding that.
