My problem is not a flicker one,
Oh how would love to get so far as to experience such a problem, instead I get corrupt screen then lock up 🙁
Running on stock Win7 and Linux VGA drivers and I experience no problem at all runs for days without a glitch.
I get this problem, whether playing games, surfing the net, writing a document or simply doing nothing, with the Catalyst drivers but not with the VGA drivers albeit that games are a no no running stock drivers, unless you enjoy painfully low FPS making any game unplayable, the ones that will even start that is.
So I can not see how this can be a hardware issue in my case??
Google has hundreds if not thousands of posts depicting my problem and after eliminating other causes with PSU upgrades, ram upgrades and turning off anything in the bios that is energy saving the problem still persists.
Other people who have RMA'd their cards with new ones still have the same problems, could they just be unlucky to get two bad ones in a row, or is the common factor the drivers I wonder?
Good luck RMAing your card, your problem does not sound like the same as the lock up problem.
