ati raedon 7570 sucks?

Hey guys I just bought a brand new computer from best buy and heres the specs
-Amd fx-8120 oced at 3.94 ghz
-Raedon 7590
-8gb kingston ddr3 RAM
-A hp 1230z motherboard? I cannot find any markings on it tht say it is and i found some results on a forum
-1tb toshiba hdd 1
-1 80mm casefan but I am runing it with the side pannel off
-1 dvd universal player/writer x22
- And one of those sd card readers that got like 12 slots

However i do have 12 usb ports which brings me to my next point, IT CAME WITH A 300 WATT NONAME POWERSUPPLY?
and after doing research, i realized i should have had like a 400-500 wat system so i started worrying which lead me to my next next point, A week after i got the comp, i downloaded steam and bought gta iv and after even more research i found out my video card should be more than enough to do so so i tried it and i could barely get by in normal to sometimes low settings with lag and doing nothing. So a month later i said im going to do somthing about that powersupply and did EVEN more research and just got my paycheck and promised myself i wasnt going to skimp and bought myself a Corsair 800watt Gaming Series powersupply and tried cramming the oversized plant into my 11inx15inx5in case that was already full...... Well an hour later i got it and it was running fine I then proceeded to oc my processor again and this time i 1 upped it and went straight for my gfx card and ram well i oced my gfx card and couldent figure out how to oc my ram so i figured it was fine with ddr3 8 gigs of kingston tam (aftermarked i went from ddr2 noname 8 gigs to this) AND I STILL CANNOT PLAY SIMPLE GAMES ON ULTRA????? I can play BF3 on ultra but arma 2-dayz-nope minecraft with a shader mod?-nope crysis 2 or 3-not even close Counter Strike GO- nope
Well before i start bothering you i was planning on buying a nvidia gtx 660 ti? I dont wanna get pooped on so lemme know whats wrong with my set up and if possible im on skype @ m4tch3dplaya

Yeah, about the only game you're going to get to run on Ultra settings with the Radeon HD7590 is Windows Solitaire. Sorry.

When looking for a graphics card, it's generally a good idea to understand what the model number means. In your case, the leading characters and first digit represent the generation of graphics (HD7 being the latest). The second digit represents the class of card. The lower this number, the lower the performance to be expected. In general terms, 0-3 means integrated, 3-5 means budget, 6-7 means mainstream, and 8-9 means enthusiast. One should note that in some games, even enthusiast class cards cannot play at ultra settings. The last two digits generally represent internal feature variations.

While your graphics card is of the latest generation and has most, if not all, the bells and whistles, it's still, at it's core, a budget class graphics card and probably won't game very well at high settings and high resolutions.

The GTX660Ti would be a nice step up for a graphics card. If possible, look to go even higher with the GTX 670 (or HD7850).

Perhaps it is your CPU. AMD's new architecture has been known to cause problems with many games, and even overclocking won't cut it sometimes. Is there any chance that you can try your card out in another system, which desirably has an Intel CPU? Something along the lines of an i5 2400 at the least. Maybe this is what is causing your problems.

Minecraft with the shader mod is VERY demanding, and it runs with like 19 fps on my current HD 4890, so you should be getting around 40, I guess. Don't worry, even a GTX 670 can't handle that ridiculous mod in its full glory. I'm not sure about Counter Strike, but you can't expect a single-card solution to run Crysis 2 or 3 perfectly with everything maxed out, you have to compromise. To prove my point:

I guess you had very high expectations of this card, but you must understand that no single GPU solution is perfect for maxing everything out today. That is how I prevent myself from being disappointed. About your CPU:

As you can see in the gaming benchmarks below, a mediocre i5 CPU from Intel crushes the Bulldozer. That could very well be your problem, considering the fact that the differences in performance between the two CPUs which were demonstrated easily show that going from FX 8150 to i5 3570K makes some games get huge gains, to the point of being a lot smoother and crossing the 60fps border on the Intel solution.

Think about this.

Wolf, I sincerely believe it was just a typo on his part. I haven't seen any 7590s on the market, only the notebook 7590M variants. I simply believe he is unsatisfied with the performance.

Then it is your GPU. You should upgrade it to either the HD 7950 or the GTX 660Ti if you want to max out games. Since you seem to like to overclock, a 7950 would be an astonishing piece. Your call.

However the amd's new bulldozer hasnt let me down completely i had my friend over with his ati raedon 8000 series and i had crysis 2 and 3 completely blown away i averaged 50-60 fps on normal and 30-40 on high. Ps I had gone through some of my games and tweaked a few to run on more threads and had a slight fps improval like minecraft on nomal went up 6-8 fps and bf3 went up 2-4 fps however arma 2 still stayed at 30 fps on high. If what wolf is saying is that i sorta got ripped off with a overglorified gfx card, how much would i need to be willing to spend to get the performance i want and to "futureproof" my rig for a few more months to a year? And i let my friend borow that vid card so im using his for a day or two

HD 7950s run for around $300, the same as 660Tis (although the latter can get cheaper).

Wolf, I sincerely believe it was just a typo on his part. I haven't seen any 7590s on the market, only the notebook 7590M variants. I simply believe he is unsatisfied with the performance.

I thought that as well, but did Google search on "HD7590". When I got results, I assumed it was an unknown graphics card manufacturer with a non-standard variation. I have since reviewed those links to find it's an actual computer model number from a company called Arbico.

However, with the OPs new information (thanks, btw), the relevant part to my post remains true. A budget class card simply will not perform to the OPs expectations.

The Radeon 8000 series hasn't been released. The mobile 8000 series was just announced and isn't expected for release until 2013. Also, it appears that Crysis 3 is just out of closed Alpha (ended Nov 9th)

So this gfx card i have isnt really good for what im using but the raedon 7900 series is better? and my budys gonna try running it in his i7 extreme and see if theres different results and if I were to upgrade and wanted to save a little bit more and not the the 660ti what others are there that would get the job done btw i tried looking and have no idea on how to tell if my motherboard supports crossfire so i was wonderingif someone could help me find out because next to my gfx card theres 3 open slots identical to the last inch of my actuial gfx card slot?

my bad i just found out that he trolled me being a derp its a raedon 7900 and it was a "mod" in the registry that ut a limit on the amount of threads used when on loading screens and missions that prevented from overheating

Back to amd's first post I choose amd because of multitasking and i liked how easy it was to work with amd when switching parts and amd had a longer warrenty when i bought this machine so i was going to build my own intel machine but after the 20th i5 number combination i gave up.
