ATX12V1 and Power Supply cords don't match!?

I just put together my computer but it seems that the ATX12V1 slots and the powersupply connectors for those slots do not match. Has anyone dealt with this issue before? My PSU is the COOLER MASTER Silent Pro M600 and my motherboard is the ASRock 970 Extreme3 AMR+.

Maybe I'm just tired but it looks like the top left and bottom right holes are boxes, while the top right and the bottom left holes are pentagonish... here are some pics sorry if the quality isnt that good i tried

Hi, The PSu has a 4+4 connector. This one goes to the board's 8-pin connector (ATX12V1). It should work.

Am I wrong or the connector on your board misses the plastic?

You have the 4+4 backwards. Those things on the left side of the plugs? They should be continuous.

I could copy/paste, but it takes time. And I'm rude in wanting people to at least do some of the work.
