Whenever I have done I clean install XP has always recognized the card. I
downloaded drivers and that forced it to be recognized but on the Creative
site the auto recognize program does not see it and none of the various
Creative programs I try to install (EAX Panel, Speaker, etc.) I am not sure
what is installed although it says Audigy II. Anyone else have similar
problem??

Try to put that Audigy 2 in another PCI slot on a mainboard and install
Creative's drivers... It should work just fine!

I have found the only way to use the Auto Update is to load the drivers
from the CD, then go there and update it. Using Windows' built in
drivers or drivers from the internet don't seem to work for me 😉
