Guys,
I've only had xp a few days and have found that if I leave my machine for
more than about 10 mins, it refers back to the welcome screen where i've then
got to log in again.
I've tried changing the power saver settings so that my machine never turns
off but it still logs me out.
Any help turning this feature off would be appreciated.

It is your screensaver settings you need to change. simply uncheck the box
where it says "go to login screen on return" or something similar. Also you
should consider disabling all power settings, using standby and hibernation
seems to be fraught with problems

good luck
Ian

This is normal if you have installed .NET Frameworks.
