Ax720 sound is very low

I running ax720 on my pc but the sound is very low and the doldy light is off on the tritton amp, it's a 2011 style headset and plug in with optical cable. I'm running a msi z77a-gd65 motherboard. I can't seem to get the right setting for dolby.

Also when I test the realtek digital audio output on dolby the light comes on the tritton amp.
