Does anything like this exist??
The Acer Ferrari is almost the perfect laptop.. Except it's only got the 9200... Do they have any plans of putting the 9600 in it?? THat would be the dream system right there!!

If you live in europe try <A HREF="http://www.jewelnotebooks.com" target="_new">jewelnotebooks</A> and or configure one at <A HREF="http://www.computerpirates.nl/" target="_new">computerpirates</A> It's the Jewel brilliant 2785

If all else fails: Read The Manual

Here are a few that I have found. I don't have personal experience with either of the vendors:

A lot of companies (Dell, Sager, and to a lesser extent, HP/Compaq) are having trouble with their 9600 Pro Turbo Graphics modules. Overheating problems causing artifacts and system restarts. I hope they sort it out.

So given the choice between the NVIDIA fxgo 5650 128 or ATI 9600 pro turbo 128 you would opt for the NVIDIA?

I am only asking because I am currently going to have my NVIDIA replaced in my DELL inspiron 8600 with the ATI one because of the DVD horizontal lines when in full screen mode problem plus the apparent superior performance of the ATI.

Which do you think is the lesser of the 2 evils?

Hell, no: not the 5650. I would go for the GF4 Go 4200 - but it's not available on the Inspiron anymore, however it can still be purchased as a spare part.

If you are going to have it replaced, definitely get the ATI. Not everyone has been having problems, but they are definitely there. No, by all means, go for the ATI it will be vastly superior.

Best of luck,
