Hello dear pc enthusiasts!!

i tried testing 3 different gpus,
1st, HD 3870
2nd, HD 5750
3rd, HD 5830

and all of these give the exact same boot error.

the motherboard does 3 long beeps and repeats once more.

here is my specs:
CPU: ryzen 5 1600AF
MOBO: MSI B450M gaming plus
PSU: Corsair CV450
RAM: corsair vengeance rgb pro 8x2 16GB TOTAL
MAIN GPU: ROG STRIXX RX 570 8gb

I don't think those old cards support UEIF BIOS.

Have you used any GPU in the board with that CPU and memory?

Have you reset CMOS? Pull the battery for a few minutes along with shorting the pins before trying again.

The problem could also be with the PCIe socket so check it carefully for any damaged or bent contacts.
yes this motherboard is alright. im using it as a daily driver and right now to write this post. my main gpu i use right now is an RX 570.

The motherboard might be locked on PCIe gen3 for the GPU socket which would work with the RX570 but not older GPU's. Resetting CMOS should revert the setting to AUTO or you could check it and change it to PCIe gen 2 in case that's all those GPU's will work with.
