Hi, i recently upgraded from a gtx 970 to a RTX 3050. Everything is great except at random times more so during gaming I get random black and purple and other random color pixelations. I dont know if it's a physical issue or driver? I reformatted windows 11 and installed the latest nvidia drivers.
Windows 11
i7 9700k
MSI Z390 A pro
ASUS RTX 3050
24" ASUS monitor 165hz

I tried inserting picture of an example wouldnt go through but here is the link .

Ty for reply, yes my cpu is OCd through OC Genie, i will check the bios version when i get home. Im always kinda worried to update bios ive heard alot of bad things so to be honest i didnt bother updating. But i will definitely check it and try. So far i believe its only happening in CS:GO

does it only happen in one game or in different ones?

Is your PC overclocked?

Try using different resolutions and refresh rates

Which BIOS version is currently installed on the motherboard? Update inside BIOS if a new one is available.
I sent back my 3050, bought evga 3060 and same problems. Tried reformatting windows, I updated BIOS, updated drivers, i finally figured out that its the digital vibrance being above 50% that was causing it. When its at 50% everything is fine. But when i go past 50% the purple pixels in dark shaded areas become very bad and visible, it sucks because i enjoy DV for cs go and always used 90% DV. Is it the drivers causing this? Is it the 30 series aren’t working right with my motherboard or something? I really dont want to send this card back it was brand new, i ran EVGA oc scanner it didnt detect any problems, I didnt have these issues with my 970 or 1050 ti :(

I updated BIOS, didn’t help, figured out digital vibrance was causing it. Now i just need to figure out why i cant enhance DV without it messing up the colors/pixels

Forgot to add i tried a different monitor and different hdmi and DP cables digital vibrance messes it up regardless

Which BIOS version is now installed on the motherboard? Version 7B98v1E1 is the latest. It´s beta but it´s the only one supporting windows 11
Use M-Flash within BIOS to update, not any windows tool:

Which nvidia driver version is installed? Latest would be 512.59
https://www.nvidia.com/Download/driverResults.aspx/187602/en-us

Did you try it after disabling any overclocking of the CPU, RAM and GPU?

Can you try it with windows 10?

Try disabling the color calibration tasks of windows

Thanks for replies, ill check but im pretty sure I downloaded the latest bios driver and i did exacty as the video and it was successful, i also did try setting my cpu back to 3.6ghz thru oc genie with no success i also tried various resolutions and refresh rates no luck, nothing else is overclocked. Only my CPU, just unusual that my gtx 970 has no problem with digital vibrance. But both 30 series cards so far have? I will try the color calibration when i get home from work, again appreciate it very much,

Tried both. Digital vibrance still breaks image when past 50% is reverting back to windows worth a try? Should i try old drivers?

I turned saturation up high along with contrast. It looks so much better, no more messed up dark purple pixels. So everything is good just cant touch digital vibrance, do you think this will be fixed eventually? Being 30 series are fairly new cards?
