bad psu question

I try to power my CX430 first i put my Galaxy GTX 650 1gb GC in the dell studio 540 and then i put my old video card in still didn't boot up could this mean a bad psu i got.

I was told CX430 was to low for my pc or could be bad psu and how do i get Consair to send me a new one?

The CX-430 is sufficient for a GTX650.
Did you plug in the CPU power cable?

If everything is connected correctly and the old PSU worked then most likely it is a bad PSU. If you can not RMA through retailer then http://corsair.force.com/

What CPU are you using? If you are using a low wattage CPU such as the i3 3220, then a 430W PSU should be enough. That would mean it was faulty. Tell me what cpu you have.

I put the 24 pin in the motherboard and cpu 4 pins in the cpu on the motherboard and the sata in the hardrive and i think dvd rom and cd-writer.

I even test out put my old vide card geforce GTS 240 with the the psu samething.

Then it looks like you have a faulty PSU, because a 430W PSU should be able to handle those specs. Ask Corsair for a replacement.
