Great job pointing out ways to shorten the leveling time. The heirlooms and guild perks really help. Help from guild mates, especially during dungeon runs, is another way to do it.

Also if your able and have a real world friend that might like wow they have the invite a friend thing where you invite someone and if they sign up your accounts are linked. So if you aare both in a party you earn extra XP as well. Now none of my friends in RL play wow so not an option for me but thought id point that out :)

I have been hit by the same ban hammer. I think the new profession was boring as hell and followed suit with many others. I am suprised of a perma-ban by blizzard, but I would never consider paying for my account to be turned back on. I started playing another MMO instead it may not be as fun but wow is rounding the end of its life. I think Blizzard is going to bite itself in the ass with permanently banning people because it is taking money from their wallets and killing off other accounts because their friends don't play any more. I'm more pissed that I have 3 months on an account that isn't playable. In conclusion I think this would will be more of a self inflicted wound for Warcraft causing it to bleed out faster and eventually fade away to the next big MMO.

It depends on the offense.

If he was accused of selling gold, then it will be a permanent ban no questions asked. He will under no circumstances get the account back.

He complied with Blizzard's EULA, and violated it.

No one will jeopardize their job at Blizzard for $1,000 to get the account reactivated.

You got what you had coming guy! That's the price for laziness ;p

Agreed, play the game the way it is intended. Don't cheat or try to justify your actions or 3rd party programs because the "profession is boring". If you don't like the profession, then don't pick that profession. Simple as that.

Blizzard is working on a newer MMO supposedly related in some way to WoW. So what if the WoW players were to bleed out to another blizzard MMO? Just something to think about. Now if the new MMO is more expensive they may be bleeding them selves on purpose. Not that that would work 100% of the time but just a thought I had lol.
