In your opinion, what is the best, bar none, non-DVD CD-ROM drive?

I favour the Toshiba 48x. Other good brands include Teac and Asus, amongst many others.

I have had nothing but greet success with my kenwood true 72. I have actually used to as the read drive for burning cd's for making copies of copies when the orginal copy has been scratched and no longer plays correctly in a normal cd. ( I am not the best at putting my cd's back in a case :) )

A little bit of knowledge is a dangerous thing!
