Best CPU/Mobo/Ram combo for $350?

Hey,

here's my suggestion

ASRock 970 EXTREME4 AM3+ AMD 970
$109.99

G.SKILL Sniper 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600
$49.99

AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition Thuban 3.2GHz Socket AM3 125W
$169.99

Total $329.97 There's even some money left over :)

Alternatively get an X4 955 BE and save $50 - waiting on Zambezi. Intel based solution is possible but it's gonna be tough within this budget IMO.

$220 - I5-2500k Processor
$90 - MSI P67S-C43 Motherboard
$23 - 4GB CORSAIR Vengeance 4GB (after $10 rebate)
----------
$333

or you could get 8gb ram like the ADATA 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 for $40 and be just a few dollars over budget (using newegg prices) or shop someplace cheaper like if you have a microcenter near you.

Either way the 2500k beats all those AMD's and thats before you overclock the daylights out of it. Its REAL easy to hit 4Ghz even with the stock cooler.

Your only problem is IF bulldozer outperfoms SandyBridge. I'm betting it won't.
