Best Heatsink/Fan for Athlon T-bird

I'm looking to overclock my t-bird 1GHz. What's the best h/f for it?

Well, I'd suggest some sort of water cooling if you plan on clocking it higher than 1.2Ghz. But, if your only clocking it at 1.1 or 1.2 I suggest a Alpha PAL6035 or GlobalWinFOP38

trust me when i say this: fop38 with the delta fan is frigging LOUD!!!!! if you are planning on keeping your comp on for days, like myself, and you comp is close to your bed. don't get it. you'll loose sleep because of it. my 2 deltafans on my slot t-bird is so frigging LOUD!
to give you an idea of how loud it is... it's as loud as a hair dryer at high!!! just get the fop38's heatsink and a smaller/quieter fan. if you want to really oc, get a peltier to go with the fop38. your cpu will be freezing.

The fop32-1 is the fop38 heatsink with a slower fan, That is what I use and it is bearable...

I use an Alpha PAL6035 with the Sunon 30cfm fan, which is not loud on my Tbird 1.2Ghz CPU, which I can overclock to 1370mhz without overheating. It works very well, but case cooling/ventilation is very important too. The fan that the Global Win FOP38 comes with is very very loud, so unless your computer stays in another room in which you can close the door to, don't get it. The Alpha will be quiet and cool at the same time. I bought 4 other heatsinks first before I got the Alpha, and none work as well.

Try the WBK38 from Global Win. It's their new version, newer than the FOP38. It's supposed to cool better, but I'm not sure how loud it is.

Hey www.millisec.com has the wbk38 heatsink they state that it works better than the fop38, it also uses the same fan so it should be just as loud, noise is not an issue for all of us my settup is damm loud (5 80mm fans pep66 with delta fan) and it does not bother me and I now have good hearing.

Yeah? I have a frickin' squirrel cage fan. This piece of crap needs it's own power supply. My computer sounds like a freakin dishwasher. vibrates like one too LOL

I am getting a new squirrel cage fan, one that isn't as loud and doesn't vibrate as much.
