If its a hypothetical question the best single card is the GTX 690. The best single GPU is split between the ati 7970 and the nVidia 680.

This would be the card to get if you had to choose one card for every situation and it comes with 6gb of video ram. So it will play BF3 on 5 monitors with ultra settings and a resolution of 12800x1600 and a 240hz refresh rate.

They will play some... after all they are still better than on board graphics...

My shops still sell PCI cards..although they are very hard to find....

The reason we stock them is that ALL the big shops like PCWORLD etc stopped selling them a few years ago, and I love selling things they wont sell...

We also still sell packs of 10 blank floppies, which they wont sell either lol...

We sell a few packs of Floppies each week....all to businesses, who still use them...weird I know, but they do....

I obviously dont make a fortune selling them but those businesses get to know us , and sometimes buy a Custom machine....Sprat to catch a Mackerel etc...
