Question BIOS does not find a ssd m.2 drive... What am I doing wrong?

Hi guys.
After few hours of research and trying to make my new SSD run I am asking for help.
I've just bought an Samsung Pro 970 512GB SSD(MZ-V7P512BW) drive and installed in my mobo Asus z97 PRO-GAMER.
BIOS does not find it in boot options. I've turned on the M.2 slot in BIOS setting, even updated BIOS to the latest version(2203 on ASUS website) and still nothing...
I want to install the win 10 PRo on it from the USB flash drive.

Hello. I bought today a new ssd a m.2 one since i always used the 2.5" ones and it was cheap because of black friday... But I'm having a problem with it. I was formatting my PC and noticed on windows install that there was no m.2 ssd, then I went to the bios and on the "onboard devices...

1 x M.2 Socket 3, , with M Key, type 2260/2280 storage devices support (both SATA & PCIE mode)

It does say it supports pcie mode... so check the bios is using pcie mode if you can

In bios settings I've got an option M.2 PCIe Mode in Advanced\Onboard Device Configuration and have it set to enable - still no effect.

do you have anything in the SATA-0 connector ? like a cdrom drive ?
if so remove it and try to boot again, SATA -0/1 are usually shared with m.2
