I was updating the bios on my Aorus b540m from F50 to F63d.
I don't know what I did, but now my motherboard is acting funky.

Best way to describe what is happening is all my internal components stop communicating with each other for a split second - Games will crash, YouTube/Twitch will crash, programs wont download properly or install properly, and of course BSOD.

I tried taking out the cmos battery. That helped for like a day then everything went to <word removed> again.
I tested it on different BIOS's - nothing.

What I want to know is, is the mobo <word removed> or is there some super obscure method to fixing it.

Before anyone ask if its another components causing this issue. No - I've test/replaced everything. Its the mobo at fault.

Although you took the CMOS battery out, did you actually 'clear CMOS'. This involves either switching a jumper on the mobo, or shorting out two pins with a screwdriver? If you did not do this, then it's possible the bios isn't fully cleared.

If you look here on page 4 of your user manual, you can see the two pins to short: mb_manual_b450m-aorus-elite_e_1101.pdf (gigabyte.com)

Once done, restart, and test again.
