Question Black screen after some time after booting

Hello folks!

I built a PC for the first time, and I have no idea what causes my problem. The PC boots normally in the BIOS (there is no OS on it yet). After a while, the screen goes black (“No signal – The screen has gone into power saving mode.”). The CPU and case fans continue to run normally. The GPU's RGB LEDs too. The GPU fans only run briefly during boot and then stop, which seems to be normal. Everything seems normal except for the screen turning off/black screen. The black screen happens completely randomly after a while. Sometimes after what feels like 5 minutes, sometimes after what feels like 15 minutes. Sometimes the screen goes black for a second. Then everything works again for a short while. Then the final black screen. At first, I thought it was a temperature problem, but according to the BIOS, the CPU temperature is 50 degrees when idle. The MB temperature is between 40 and 50 degrees. The CPU and RAM were detected. There shouldn't be any problems there either. I tried to install the OS once, but there was also a black screen after a while. To be honest, I don't want to try it again until the cause of the black screen has been clarified, otherwise I'll destroy something. I have now removed the GPU that was taken over from the old PC and put it back in my old PC. Everything runs fine there. Do you have any idea what the problem could be?

When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs. Please list the specs to your build like so:

include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.

Is your iGPU enabled in BIOS?

Run DDU to remove all GPU drivers (Intel, AMD and Nvidia) in Safe Mode, then manually reinstall with the latest GPU driver sourced from Nvidia's support site in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator.

Thanks for your reply, but did you read? I've written that there isn't an OS yet. I can't remove the GPU drivers.

Make it smaller.
Remove the gpu and connect to the igp....test.
Unplug all disk....test.
If no help at least you know some things it's not.

Hi, please provide your complete system hardware. Here is something to consider trying. Disconnect the power cables from your graphics card and carefully remove it. Connect your monitor HDMI to the onboard IGP graphics port. Boot the board to the BIOS. See first if the screen stays on with the onboard graphics it should at this point. Change the setting for the board to boot from the onboard graphics and Install Windows with UEFI boot setting. Then install the chipset drivers for your board. Then shut down the system carefully install your discreet graphic card firmly in the board, plug in its power cables and connect your monitor to it. Boot the system to the BIOS again and change the graphic card setting to boot from your discreet card. It should be the PCIEx1 port. See if it will boot fully to Windows with out errors. Again just something to try. This method has worked for me in the past with AM3 and recently with AM4 systems.
