Block executing a application in corporate network

Hello,
How can i to prevent the demonstration of a software in corporate network?

Don't give any of your network users adequate privileges to install software on their machines except those who need it and will be responsible.

Or if the application is on a server, just set the permission on the executable or it's folder so that only the necessary people have access to it.
