hi. ok so last week my power supply blew up. I bought a new power supply and the computer light up for a second and wouldnt turn on. I tested the power supply on another computer and it works fine. So i assumed the motherboard fried and bought a new motherboard that im still waiting for.
If the power supply blew up while the computer was ON, and the motherboard also blew up, does that mean the other connected parts are also damaged? (hard drive, cpu, graphics card)
once the motherboard comes, i will "test" these other parts but i need some help. What things in particular should i be on the look out for? Do damaged cpu, hard drive and graphics card make certain noises, behave oddly, look differently etc?
Thanks!
