blue screen of death

Hello, i was wondering if anyone here can help me.

I recently install two new cpus, intel xeon e5472 to my moderboard.

The computer runs fine in everything
But when im playing assassins creed unity like 5 minutes after i start playing the computer crashes. I get the blue screen and the computer restart.

I did the startup repair to see if that would help but it still crash.

Does anyone have a solution.

P.S it used to work fine with the older cpu which was xeon e5440

What's the make and model of the motherboard? What bios revision are you using?

Is this from the Hewlett-Packard HP xw6600 Workstation? If so, I don't believe the E5472 is specifically compatible with your motherboard (see: http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/pscmisc/vac/us/product_pdfs/xw6600_datasheet_jun09_061609.pdf).

Ihog thank you for your response, bit i dont think thats the problem, like i said, the computer runs fine for everything, is just that the BSOD apper like 5 minutes into the game.

So only in AC:U? Have you run any CPU stress tests? If so, which ones, and for how long?

I havent, i will try that later when i get home.
The cd that came with the nvidia graphic card has something like that

That is likely a GPU stress test.
