I’ve had my new MSI gtx 1060 6gb model for a month now and for some reason when it’s under stress it just randomly turns off? I’m not sure but it’s unlikely it’s the temp I turned up the fans on msi afterburner to try to prevent this. I also recently overclocked about a week ago and all has gone good until today... I did stop the overclock and put the gpu back to default settings but it is still happening? Is there anyone with advice?

next time you run a becnhmark, be sure to run also hwmonitor in the same time, set it to record the temperature in real time in a file. then you would be able to access it after a crash, and check the temps.

also most benchmarks displays the temperature in real time (try superposition)

The best place to start would be a list of your complete specs and especially your exact power supply.
Mobo: B450 pro m2
CPU: Ryzen 5 2600
Power supply: Cooler Master Masterwatt 650
Ram: 8gb Corsair vengance
Gpu: Msi gtx 1060 6 gb
Storage: Barracuda 1tb hard drive
Case: Cooler Master Pro lite 2
Update Now when I turn on my pc the gpu completely doesn’t turn on. I’ve tried switch the spot the powers comes from on then mobo and changing then pci e cable but nothing is working
Also thanks a lot for the help I’ve been very lost and under lots of stress lately because I need those computer for school
