Question bsod and instamt reboot

Hi everyone. I just yesterday upgraded to an i5 2400s from an g630. After placing it and starting the pc after the windows loadiing logo im getting a bsod and.instant reboot ( 1 sec after the bsod appears) after recording and putting it in slow motion i found the.bsod error was irql_not_less_or_equal(if it helps). I tried botting into an usb stick with windows on it,still same error and instant reboot. My mb model is Asus P8H61-M Plus R2.0

Use another pc/laptop to download the latest bios, and update the bios. Also is it P8H61-M LX or LX3 PLUS R2.0?

I will try updating the bios since its current version is 0404. Its P8h61-m lx3
