[SOLVED] Building a new computer, will the GPU bottleneck the CPU?

Hello!

So, I found a great bargain and now i'm contemplating to buying it. My current setup is I5-7600k, 16GB 3200MHZ DDR4 ram and a gtx 1060 6gb OC card and the new one would be rtx2080/I7-10700k.

I have two options:
1) I waste all of my spare money for rtx2080/I7/16gb 3200mhz setup
or
2) I keep the 1060 6gb and pair it with an I7-10700k and save some money for unexpected expenses, then upgrading the gpu later on.

And so comes my question, will I get a better performance with a 1060 6gb and I7 or it will bottleneck and I get worse performance than I do now?

For example (both on low settings, CS 4:3 x728 and cod 1080p):
I currently get 250-400fps in CSGO (low load) and 80-100fps in cod warzone with occasional fps stutters - cpu is on high load 80-100%(stutter happens almost always when using a sniper scope through a window).

Adding new, better parts does not give worse performance.

Your theoretical A:

Your theoretical B:
I7-10700k/1060 6gb OC


Sorry, but this is the most misunderstood concept around.

Would there be a bigger "bottleneck"? For various definitions, yes.
Would there be better performance? Also yes.

Again...adding better parts does not equal less performance.

Go for a 3070 and get one of the new ryzen processors when they come out ; D ; O unless amd can get a better deal gpu wise
