Question BUYING RX570 8GB GPU

MSI RX570 8GB ARMOR. is this gpu good for normal gaming? is there anyone who facing problem in this gpu?
hot issue or lag or crash? plz help cz im going to buy this..my cpu i7-7700.8GB RAM.1080p monitor.

RX570 is a great choice for gaming and if you can find one on the used market, you might get one for very cheap. Be sure to get a decent PSU such as the newer Corsair CX series psu or a seasonic focus gold. If you already have a PSU, what make and model is it?

You can also try out your luck with used 1060 6gb's on the market. I got one from a miner for 90$+ shipping and then RMAed it from the manufacturer and got a new one.

If you're buying in the US , then here are the prices for the 8GB versions of the 570 and 580.

If you're sticking with the MSI Armor, the 580 is actually $4 cheaper than the 570, but, the 580 needs to use the $30 rebate code and $20 mail-in-rebate to get that lower price.

For $11 more than the MSI Armor OC RX 570, 8GB you can get the Sapphire Pulse RX 580 8GB, which has a very good cooler design.

Before upgrading anything, I would highly advise you change your PSU as the litepower series does not have high quality components. Try the Corsair CX series (non green), if you budget is limited.

For the GPU, if you a buying used on eBay, the RX 570 can go from $80 to $130 depending on the seller. If you are skeptical about buy stuff on eBay, the 570 can go from $170 to $180 new on Amazon. However as other have pointed out, for $15 more you can get the RX 580 8Gb.

Since I last posted, that Sapphire Pulse 580 8GB has come down even further. Now at $169.99 at NewEgg after the $20 promo code is entered. I'd strongly recommend it over the MSI Armor 570 or 580.
