I bought a Corsair CX Series CX550M power supply unit (PSU) recently and I am afraid that it will not work (I read many Amazon customer product reviews about the Corsair CX Series of PSUs failing). I wonder if I can connect a 120 mm fan (most likely has lights) to the (4-pin) Molex connector of this PSU to spin it. If I connect a PSU to a wall, connect one of the PSU's (4-pin) Molex connector to a 120 mm case fan, and turn on the power from the wall, can it make the fan spin to show that the PSU works? Do I need to do anything else?
