Generally speaking, if you check the details of your internet package it will state things like "speeds up to", and likely mentions things about peak time demand and so forth.
The further you are away from the "hub" that provides the service for your particular area/street/whatever and the number of other people connected at that same time, their traffic....
Many factors involved.
Your options may include checking with another provider, if such exist in your area. Here, we have ONE provider of truly fast internet. Then there is slower DSL and even slower dish. The super fast fiber (and like) options are not available here.
