Hello All,

I am Using Hp 15 DY000AU with Ryzen 3 2200U Radeon Vega Mobile Gfx.
Below are some System Specs Acording to CPUz

i have
samsung 4gb DDR4 2666 single Channel in slot 1
i want to add 8gb DDR4 2666 (Dual Channel is mentioned in sales page) ram in slot 2

so can i mix dual channel with single channel ram ?
as per HP Customer Support they only mentioned that

DDR4-2400 Dual Support upto 16GB for Ryzen Processors with the following Configurations
16 [8GB x 2]
12 [8GBx1 + 4GBx1]
8 [8Gb x 1] or [4GB x2]
4 [GBx1]

RAM modules are only guaranteed in the form sold (from the same pack). So it's a 50/50 gamble whether a new set of modules will work with the old. This is because the manufacturing of the modules changes frequently, making them the same make/model/timings is irrelevant. That is just a way to try and minimise potential conflict, but not eliminate it.

So not saying it won't work, but it is a 50/50 gamble regardless.

Is this to replace your current RAM or to add to it?
If it's to replace it, get whichever you prefer or is the fastest for the price.

If it's to add to your current RAM, the potential for conflict is probably the same between all of them, the best way to minimise it is to pick a module that's similar to your current (2666) at CL17 - but again, no guarantee regardless.

i would like to add it. Still its puzzling because if i buy any of the above product i dont get any replacement at all it wil be waste of money. above 3 are CL19
