Question Can I pair these 2 kits of RAM?

Hi,

I currently have the Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x4GB 2400MHz RAM kit in my system. I'm planning on upgrading the capacity so am looking at the Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 2x8Gb 3200MHz.

My motherboard only supports up to 2400MHz but I'm getting a higher clock speed RAM kit as I plan to upgrade my motherboard in the near future, I understand that it will underclock the new RAM to 2400MHz which I'm fine with.

The question is, as these 2 sets of RAM will be running at the same clock speed, would it be ok to pair them up and run them at the same time to get a total of 24GB of RAM?

Hmm, I'll try it, if it doesn't work I'll just use the 16GB of RAM
