I have an Acer Aspire 5 (model N18Q13), and I would like to use two monitors with it. However, I ran to some problems when I found out that my USB-C apparently does not support video output. This laptop has one 3.1 USB, two 2.01 USB, and one 2.0 USB-C, none of them supports video output.
Therefore, the first solution that came to mind was to use a docking station for the two HDMI ports.
So, now, the question is: can I use the HDMI output of a docking station but connecting it to a 3.1 USB that doesnt have a video support?
I tried to buy a USB-C to HDMI entry at first, but it didnt work.
