i want to know if i can upgrade an old Acer Aspire E1-571-32344G32Maks laptop to an SSD, it's currently using a WD3200BPVT 320GB HDD mounted in a AMOHI000100 drive caddy.
if it's possible, then what SSD should i buy or what SSD can i put in this old laptop ?

thankyou for answers

Yes you can, you can swap out the HDD for a 2.5" SSD of any choice though since you'd be on SATA 3.0 speeds, I'd suggest that you look at the cheapest 2.5" SSD you have access to. If the laptop has an optical drive, you can replace the ODD with a 2ndary drive caddy like this;

Speaking of which, if you'd like us to narrow down possible candidates for the upgrade, where are you located, what is your preferred site for purchase and what is your budget?

Upgrading from a HDD to a SSD will transform the performance of your laptop.
As an easy way, buy a samsung 870 EVO of whatever capacity you want.
A 1tb unit is $73 :
Buy a USB to sata adapter cable, about $10 like this:

Run the samsung ssd migration aid to move your C drive to the ssd.
app and instructions here:
It will take a while if your hdd is full.
When done, replace the hdd with the new ssd and boot.

I would avoid the 870 Evo. Users are reporting problems with this model.

You can truncate the tracking garbage from your URL:
