Please cross-post if necessary in the future. Multi-posting can be
annoying. =)

"System Restore" - that only covers SYSTEM files. MP3s are not necessary
for your system - so that backup depends on you.

There are several data restoration applications out there (Google for
them) - but know that the more you use your machine, the lower your odds of
getting all of your MP3 files back are - as the system will write over the
areas where your MP3 files were - rendering them useless or partial.

Many years ago, cross posting was considered rude/spamming. I would
multi post myself, if I thought there was a reason. And, for replying
to messages that have been cross posted, I have my newsreader set to
reply to ONLY the group I'm replying to. I guess it all depends on
what you learned in the past.

Simply reload the lost files from your backup copy. If you don't have
a backkup, maybe you better make one for the remaining files before
all is lost. :(

In article <eah2h1tdgsetbvm9798na5iqig4hohnoqj@4ax.com>,
zil@zilbandyREMOVETHIS.com says...

And it still is, if you cross post to more than 5 groups, it's still
considered rude, but 5 or less is fine/proper.

Multi-posting is always in poor taste as it makes most usenet readers
unable to mark the articles as read across all the groups that the user
posted to - since it's not a single article.
