[SOLVED] Can I use a 10-year-old PSU for my latest build ?

10 years ago, I was having a PC build where I was using a Corsair CX430M 430-watt PSU, which I hardly ever used. From that time on, it has been packed inside that cabinet.

Can I use that old PSU and cabinet for a new build ?

I personally checked, and all the wires and circuits look good.

The biggest problem would be capacitors, and you can't just do a visual check.

What are the specs of this "new build?" This wasn't a good PSU when it was new 10 years ago.

then I will buy a new PSU.

For my new build, I want to use the AMD 4600g with the MSI A320M-A PRO, 2 SSDs, and 32 GB of RAM, and I have no plans to use a dedicated GPU.

Can I use the cabinet?
The capacitor isn't an issue for the cabinet, right?
It will just use it to power on the switch.

Good idea. PSU's are in general having an aging issue, that is it tends to not last as long compared to other components, depending on a multiple of factors of course.
