Hi,
I have an old HP ENVY 750QE case. I was using can I use this case for a custom build. I mean will it accept a custom PSU and mobo. Also will the case connectors work with custom mobo.
Thanks!

without seeing pictures of the inside of the case i will go with a 65% no.

HP normally does not use standard screw holes for their motherboards and the back of the case for the I/O shield is probably part of the case so a different motherboard will not match up to it.

Saying that, could you drill and put in new standoffs for the motherboard....sure. Could you cut the back of the case to accept the standard rectangle I/O shield.....sure. Do you trust yourself enough to do that is the question.

As for case connections you can always trace the wires back to the buttons and re-wire them to the motherboard, but once again you have to trust yourself to do that.

Will standard ATX components simply bolt in?
Highly unlikely.

Can this HP case be modified to take standard ATX components?
All depends on your DIY skills and tools.

Unless you're into doing a sleeper casemod, this will be far too much work.
